Tip: Ensure that you are in Edit mode and have clicked on the prices tab of the grid before trying to add a price to a vehicle or option.
Before adding your price click on your option, variant or delivery price line. There are three ways that you can add a price. Where more than one price (by virtue of generation) is available, multiple prices will be displayed in red.
Right click on the line required and select Create/Edit or Delete this price, dependant if a price is created or not.
Double click on the line.
Click on the line, then click the button.
The Variant/Option Prices form will become available, detailing the vehicle and option details and allowing amendment of values for that variant, delivery or option.
Selling price: Enter the selling / retail price (not applicable to N/R costs or bonuses).
Taxable price: Enter the taxable price, if applicable.
Cost price: Enter the cost price.
Or
Option margin (default from variant): Enter the margin percentage, if applicable.
Calculated cost price: Will be a calculated cost price after a margin % is entered.
Car tax flag: Enter a Car tax code, if applicable. This field, if activated, overwrites the car tax code on the variant.
Once all relevant fields are completed click on the OK button. A cost or cost % and price will be displayed against the appropriate line.
Using the same principles, adding another price to a variant, delivery or option line, is done in much the same way. When clicking on a line to add an additional price an extra form will be displayed, this will show all prices attached to the line.
To add an additional price, select the line you wish to edit this will displays the variant/option prices form again. If the price is to be effective from and to another date, change the dates, then amend the relevant prices.
When completed click on the OK button.
Note: Multiple prices will be displayed in red.
