This form is accessed via Vehicle Administration / Service Schedules / Vehicle Schedules and selection of the ??? icon or Extend Schedule from the Tools menu.
The Extend Vehicle Schedule form is displayed which enables the original vehicle service schedule to be extended. When a service schedule is initially created the schedule projection stops at the agreement end date. However, in some cases it is inevitable that a vehicle continues to be in use beyond the original contract end date and therefore servicing continues to be necessary.
This function is available for all vehicles with a schedule and allows the extension of the service schedule by the number of periods required.
The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Extend Vehicle Schedule Dialogue Box and a series of Command Button at the bottom of the form.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
Contains a single field:
The number of periods by which the schedule is to be extended beyond the original contract end date.
The list of command buttons is as follows:
Extends the vehicle service schedule beyond the original contract end date by the number of periods entered within the Number of Periods field.
Exits the Extend Vehicle Schedule form and returns to the previous form without taking any action.
