RELEASE PERIODIC RENEWALS(MULTIPLE VEHICLES)

Overview

The Release Renewals (Multiple Vehicles) form is accessed via Contract Administration / Administration Options / Release Renewals and selecting the Multiple Items Command Button. This option enables the release to the Purchase Ledger of renewal records for Motor Club, Insurance and Road Fund Licenses. Thus, for example, all RFL renewals that are due for renewal between a defined range of dates, may all be renewed within a single process.

This form is constituted of five elements, which are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Menu Bar

The content of the Release Periodic Renewals (Multiple Vehicles) menu bar is as follows:

Exit

Exits to the Release Periodic Renewals form.

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.

Toolbar

The content of theRelease Renewals (Multiple Vehicles) toolbar is as follows:

Exits to the Release Periodic Renewals form.

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.

Release Periodic Renewals(Multiple Vehicles)Dialogue Box

The following data fields are contained within the Release Periodic Renewals (Multiple Vehicles) Dialogue Box:

Selection of the drop-down-arrow immediately to the right of this field presents a list box which displays the following currently available valid options:

M   Motor Club

I   Insurance

L   Licenses

The selected item is returned to the Renewal Type field.

The renewal range start date. The system defaults-in the current system date.

By clicking-on the ellipsis button (...) button immediately to the right of the date fields a monthly diary form is displayed in order to assist in establishing the correct date. Selection of the < button moves to the previous month and the > button moves to the next month. Selection of Exit exits the diary form. A double-click on the appropriate day of the month enters this date into the appropriate date field.

Tip: Enter T to display today's date.

Command Buttons

Allows amendment of previously input data e.g. Renewal Type or date range fields.

Initiates a search looking for a match to the input selection criteria. If any matching items are found the Release Periodic Renewals sub-form is displayed enabling all or selected items to be released for renewal.
