Start Multiple Contracts

The Start Multiple Contracts form option enables multiple contracts to be started in quick succession by offering the input of a customer address group code and/or quotation number from which a list of all associated fleet agreements is shown.

Note: Only agreements at an Accepted status are shown on this form for selection.

Each agreement is made available for selection simply by clicking on the line required. Each selected line is highlighted in blue. (Additionally, clicking on these agreement lines again deselects them). To aid quick selection of all contract the Select All icon is available to automatically select and highlight all agreements on the form.

The functionality of Start Contracts remains as at present but once each contract has been completed and started the system should automatically enables selection of the next contract from this form by selecting the Next Contract command button. Once the next contract is loaded automatically from the original selection the start contract form is pre-populated with the data from the preceding contract ready for final amendments and starting. This process loops around until all selected contracts have been started at which point the system disables the Next Contract command button in the Start Contract form awaiting the user to exit out and return to the Administration Options menu.

To access Start Multiple Contracts:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Contract Administration option and Company required.

    The Contract Administration Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Administration Options option.

    The Administration Options menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Start Multiple Contracts option.

    The Start Multiple Contracts form is displayed.

This form is divided into four parts that are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar displays other useful identification criteria and buttons.

File > Select All Save Selects all of the current contracts within the form so that they are all available for the start multiple contracts process.
File > Start Contracts Tick Starts the multiple contract start process by enabling the Start Contract form.
File > Exit Exit Exits the Start Multiple Contracts form without saving any edits that have been made. The ALT F4 shortcut is an alternative way of exiting the form.
Help > Help Provides online access to context sensitive help for the current application using the default browser.
Start Multiple Contracts Dialogue Box

The following data fields are contained within the Start Multiple Contracts Dialogue Box:

Customer Reference: Enables a full list of Accepted Fleet Agreements to be displayed for a specific customer address group. Selection of the [...] immediately to the right of this field enables a search for the required address group.

Quote Number: Enables a full list of Accepted Fleet Agreements to be displayed that have been generated from a specific quote number. Selection of the [...] immediately to the right of this field enables a search for the required quote number.

Agreement: The master number of the relevant agreement that is linked to the vehicle. The agreement number produced at the quotation stage of the contract.

Reg No: The registration number of the vehicle linked to the contract.

Customer: The customer Address Group Code e.g. 01REB01.

Lease Type: The contract Lease Type Code e.g. CM.

Lease Definition: The contract Lease Definition Code e.g. A.

Vehicle Description: The full vehicle variant description.
