The Washout Style form is accessed via Contract Administration / Final Washout / Washout Style and also in Terminations / Final Washouts / Washout Style.
This option offers the facility to make the Washout Style for an individual contract either Automatic or Manual.
The Automatic option is available for overnight batching in Timed operations. The system checks the Next Washout Run date held against the appropriate Lease Type record and compares it against the system date. If the date is greater than or equal to the date held on the Lease Type then postings are made for any contract linked to the Lease type undergoing termination.
Contracts set to Manual within Terminations come through to the Final Washout options set as manual and either have to be re-set back to Automatic or washed out manually. This is useful if a particular contract gives cause for concern and manual intervention is required to double-check postings.
