Restore: Enables the form to be restored to its former setting. This option is normally dimmed.
Move: Enables the form to be moved to another area of the desktop.
Size: Enables alterations to the size of Autoline forms.
Minimise: Minimises the form to a button and transfers it to the Taskbar.
Maximise: Maximises the size of the form.
Close: Closes the form. The Shortcut Key of Alt+F4 is also given as an alternate way of carrying out the command.
Preferences: Number of options are presented here which enable the modification of system performance and the look of the form; they are presented via a series of Tabs:
Printer:
The Print Output box enables the user to select if they wish to print to a Printer device, File or Clipboard.
The Printer box enables the selection of a Default or Specific printer (provided the system output device is set to Printer).
The form Dump Type box enables a selection of form dump types for example, Bitmap, Monochrome Bitmap or Text Only (dependent upon the system output device selected).
The Print Filebox enables the filename to be edited if the print output device is set to "file".
Text Windows:
This Tab enables the appearance of Autoline windows form to be edited with particular regard to text options.
Within the form Elements box a particular element (background, window border, etc) of the window that requires modification is selected.
By moving to the Colours box the colour of the selected area can be edited. A visual Example of the amended colour scheme is displayed in the bottom left corner.
The Cursor Type box is used to change the cursor from "line" to "bar", "block" or "grey".
The Font Box enables the font, font style and size to be edited. A visual Sample is displayed beneath the selection.
The OK button confirms all selections.
Cache:
Enables the amount of cache disk space in use to be varied. This is set by: Specific Size in megabytes; a Percentage of drive; or None (which disables the function).
The Cache Location can be defined or amended.
This option should be used under supervision.
Form Windows:
This Tab enables the appearance of Autoline windows form to be edited with particular regard to form options for example, Default Form Font and Background Colour.
Currency:
This Tab enables the user to tick a check box to enable alternative currency mode.
Bookmark: This is an option within the KCML language which enables a Bookmark Shortcut to be created for a frequently used procedure A Bookmark Name is entered and the icon is dragged onto the desktop or folder to create the shortcut.
