The New Posting Table form enables a new posting table to be created ready to be populated or an existing posting table to be opened to be viewed or edited.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
Displays a list of existing posting tables displaying the following details:
The ten character alphanumeric posting table code.
The full posting table description name.
If the
New Posting Table
form is accessed
by way of the
File /New
or
from the
Posting
Tables Setup
form then these tables cannot be accessed. However, at
the bottom of the dialogue box a blank field is displayed for entry of a new
posting table code. Following entry of the required code the
OK
command
button should be selected to confirm the new posting table name and return to
the
Posting Tables Setup
form for
entry of the full table description name.
If the
New Posting Table
form is accessed
by way of the
File / Open
or
from the
Posting
Tables Setup
form then these tables may be selected to be viewed or
edited with a double-left-click of the mouse. This effects a return to the
Posting
Tables Setup
form where the code and full table description name are
displayed. The
Options
option can then be taken from the
Edit
menu
within the
Posting Tables Setup
form
to view or edit the posting table details.
The full list of command buttons is as follows:
Confirms the new posting table name and returns to the Posting Tables Setup form for entry of the full table description name.
Aborts the current procedure and returns to the Posting Tables Setup form.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
