Selection of the Finance Review icon directly to the right of the Contract Start Month field
(or, alternatively, by selecting Finance from the Review Menu option) presents
the Finance Review form. This form is used to review and edit default finance values set at
global level (taken from Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management / Finance Schemes
and Finance Profiles) or at a customer override level (taken from Marketing /
Record Maintenance / Company Tab / Fleet Details).
Note: This form is also used to define a quotation/agreement as being affected by the Escalation Process by selecting the appropriate values in the Escalate Tab.
This form is split into four parts, which are as follows:

The Cancel icon cancels any amendments made to data within the current session and stays within the current Review form awaiting further edits or an exit command.

This area displays a number of default finance details, which are as follows:
This line displays two fields. The first field displays the Finance Company Code (up to 10 characters) and the second field displays the Finance Company Description (both of which are set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management/Finance Sources).
This line displays two fields. The first field displays the Scheme Code (up to 10 characters) and the second field displays the Scheme Name (both of which are set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management / Finance Schemes).
Displays the Finance Calculation Method Code e.g. DAB = "Derived A&B Rates". This is also set up in the Finance Sources form.
Displays the number of initial rentals quoted for the proposed contract as defined within Finance Profiles (set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management).
Displays the number of regular periodic rentals quoted for the proposed contract as defined within Finance Profiles(set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management).
Displays the month (within the quoted contract term) in which payments are due to commence as defined within Finance Profiles (set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management).
A check-box which if ticked indicates that the Capital or Residual Rates have been edited within the Finance Review form
Displays the appropriate Band as defined within the Finance Schemes form. The rate of interest on borrowed monies may change for differing monetary break points. For example, Band 1 may have a capital interest rate of 10% for sums of £20,000 or below. Within the same Scheme, Band 2 may have a capital interest rate of 12.5% for sums between £20,000 and £30,000.
Displays the annual percentage rate.
Quoted Finance
Displays the Capital Interest Rate used within the quotation. This is defined within the Finance Schemes interest Rates table. The rate is taken from the figure that is input into the Rate 1 field within the appropriate band for the vehicle cost.
Displays the Residual Interest Rate used within the quotation. This is defined within the Finance Schemes interest Rates table. The rate is taken from the figure that is input into the Rate 2 field within the appropriate band for the vehicle cost.
Displays the "A" Factor Rate used within the quotation for the capital element of the finance. The factor is a rate of money per £1000.
If a Finance Calculation Method Code of DAB (i.e. "Derived A&B Rates" set up in the Finance Sources form) is selected then this rate is derived. It is derived (via a Discounted Cash Flow algorithm) from the interest rate figure that is input into the Rate 1 field in the Finance Profiles interest Rates table within the appropriate band for the vehicle cost.
If a Finance Calculation Method Code of RAB (i.e. "Rates A&B" set up in the Finance Sources form) is selected then this factor is input directly into the Rate1 field within the Finance Profiles interest Rates table in the appropriate band for the vehicle cost.
Displays the "B" Factor Rate used within the quotation for the residual value element of the finance. The factor is a rate of money per £1000.

The amount being charged by the finance house to fund the vehicle. (i.e. the Quoted Finance value less Depreciation).
The monetary value required to finance the vehicle (i.e. the Quoted Interest plus Depreciation).
The regular finance value equates to the Quoted Finance value divided by the period of the contract.
