TYRE BUDGET TABLES

Overview

The Tyre Budget Tables set-up form is accessed via Miscellaneous Options / Product Management / Tyre Budget Tables and is used to create, edit and delete Tyre Budgets for use within a product.

Tip:This table works in conjunction with the Tyre Costs table.

The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Tyre Budget Tables Dialogue Box and the column of Command Buttons down the right-hand side of the form.

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Tyre Budget Tables Dialogue Box

To create a new tyre budget table select the Create Command Button.

To view or amend an existing tyre budget table use the following procedure:

The cursor is located in the Table Number field prompting selection of the required table code/description for the purposes of editing an existing tyre budget. A single-left-click of the ellipsis (...) box to the right of this field will display a Tyre Tables List Box from which the appropriate additional tyre table is selected for the core calculation method (either Contract Hire or another commercial product). This code has a matching description. A double-left-click selects and confirms the required tyre table (alternatively, single-left-click and select the OK command button).

The Details Tab displays a number of details relating to the selected Tyre Budget Table, which are as follows:

Displays a free-format textual description for the selected Tyre Budget Table e.g. High Performance.

This field displays the available default table types for the selected Tyre Budget Table. A single-click of the down-arrow to the right of this field enables selection from the current available options:

  • T Total Value
  • P Pence Per Mile

This grid displays the following columns of data:

Displays a series of mileage breaks for the tyre budget table. For each mileage break an associated value - be it a total value or pence per mile value dependent upon the selection made above in the Table Type field - is held in the associated column to the right.

This column is header either Total Value or Pence Per Mile dependent upon the selection made above in the Table Type field and displays the value accordingly. for example, a Total Milege of 10,000 miles may be entered and a Total Value of £ 70.00; in this case, £ 70.00 is the total tyre budget used within the quotation.

Tip: The Table Number is allocated against the vehicle within Vehicle Data Management. This then combines with the Tyre type selected for the product within the quotation.

Command Buttons

A number of command buttons are available. Some buttons are context sensitive and are greyed-out and only become available dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full list of command buttons is as follows:
