Other Dialogue Box

The Other Tab Dialogue Box displays the following fields:

If rebates are allowed for the selected customer and a budget for insurance is held against the contract, then the system calculates the value to be given back as a rebate. Taken into account are the period value of the insurance from which is subtracted the the number of days left in the period of the expected termination.

If rebates are allowed for the selected customer and a budget for Motor Club is held against the contract, then the system calculates the value to be given back as a rebate. Taken into account are the period value of the Motor Club from which is subtracted the the number of days left in the period of the expected termination.

If rebates are allowed for the selected customer and a budget for RFL is held against the contract, then the system calculates the value to be given back as a rebate. Taken into account are the period value of the RFL from which is subtracted the the number of days left in the period of the expected termination.

The estimated odometer reading using the contract odometer value, calculated as at the quoted end of the lease.

The estimated odometer reading calculated by taking the last known odometer reading of the vehicle and estimating the actual mileage at the estimated termination date.

The last recorded odometer reading for the vehicle.

The date the last recorded odometer reading for the vehicle was taken.

The odometer reading value input on entry into the quotation.

The known relief vehicle mileage.

The actual mileage keyed in at the termination of the contract. This is the value that all Excess and Under calculations use to create actual charges to the customer.

The settlement value received off the insurance company.

The Purchase Ledger account of the insurance company.

A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that the final settlement has been received from the insurance company.

The calculated Excess distance on the quotation until the contract is terminated. This value is always estimated until the final procedure is undertaken.

The calculated charge for the Excess distance. The excess distance charge is capable of being set in up to ten different bands of charges. For example, if a table is set at breaks of five thousand, then for the first five thousand miles over the contract distance, the system charges one value but for the next five thousand miles another values, etc.

The calculated Under distance on the quotation until the contract is terminated. This value is always estimated until the final procedure is undertaken.

The calculated charge for the Under distance. The rebate is capable of being set in up to ten different bands of charges. For example, if a table is set at breaks of five thousand, then for the first five thousand miles over the contract distance, the system charges one value but for the next five thousand miles another values, etc.
