The Basis Code e.g. 75 and associated description e.g. 75% of Outstanding Rentals. The basis code denotes which of the various types of calculation is to be used when raising the termination quotation. The system defaults in the code linked to the customer for the type of termination requested. If a code does not exist on the customer record then the default on the lease type is used. Selection of the down-arrow-button presents a drop down list of all currently available Basis Codes.
The expected termination date. This date allows the system to make all the calculations for this quotation according to the stated date.
The value defaults-in using the last known value and pro-rated forward to give an estimate at the stated termination date. If there is no known odometer reading then the system uses the contract odometer reading pro-rated to the new end date. This value may be overwritten by a value quoted by the customer who is requesting the vehicle termination. The estimated Excess and Under Charges are calculated using this value.
Note:Actual charges are calculated for Excess and Under valuations of mileage at the TERMINATION of the contract, when actual odometer readings are known.
The date on which the vehicle is stolen or written-off. This field is utilised when the Termination Type is Theft/Write-off Termination.
