TERMINATION SITUATION

Overview

Accessed by way of Terminations / Termination Washouts / Washout Style and selection of a record within the Termination Records Grid.

The Termination Situation sub-formsets the vehicle status of the contract record to allow the contract to be terminated manually.

The following fields are displayed:

• Sequence Number

The system generated number for the quotation raised against this contract. If, for example, there are five quotations for the current contract awaiting a customer response, then the system generates sequence numbers from 1 to 5 in the sequence they are created.

• Termination Type

The type of termination selected e.g. Normal, Early, Theft or Write-off.

• Calculation Basis

The code used to calculate the values of the quotation.

• Actual End Period

The period in which the contract terminates if termination is carried out.

• Date Created

• Excess Charge

The excess mileage charge (if applicable)

Command Buttons

The following command buttons is displayed:

• Washout Manually

Sets the vehicle status to be washed out manually and thus prevents the system from including the vehicle record within the automatic washout process.

• Help

Provides online context sensitive help.
