The Reset In Use Flags screen is accessed via System Maintenance / Reset In Use Flags and is a facility that resets "lock flags". "Lock flags" are flags which are put on files when they are in use so that other users cannot access them. If a user exits from a module illegally this flag is not reset correctly.
Warning: This option should not be taken unless there are No users within the current module for the specified company number.
This option is available in the System maintenance menu within various modules
This screen is constituted of three elements, which are as follows:
In addition to displaying the screen name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The Status Box displays the current status of the process. For example, if the Reset command button is selected, then the box may display the message Processing .
The following command buttons are available:
Exits to the System Maintenance Menu .
Provides online context-sensitive help.
Proceeds to reset the "lock flags".
Displays a Choose Company sub-form which enables selection of the required company for which to reset the flags. The appropriate company number (e.g. 73 ) should be entered in the Enter Company field and the OK command button used to confirm this selection. If no company is selected then the current company is assumed to be the default selection.
