CONTROL DEFAULTS (VAT TAB)

Overview

The Control Defaults VAT Tab set-up form is accessed via the Kerridge Utilities / Control Defaults menu options within the Contract Administration module.

The VAT Tab is used to define (at set-up) a number of VAT codes used for items raised within the Contract Administration module.

The VAT codes apply to different categories of Capitalised and Non-Capitalised Sales and Recharges and Expenditures.

As a general rule, the VAT code applied to the Expenditures - Budgets is usually Outside the Scope. However, all other items vary depending upon the specific requirements of the customer and the VAT ruling applied by their own VAT office.

The down-arrow button immediately to the right of each VAT field displays a drop-down list of current available VAT rates.
