The Posting Control Flag form is accessed via Contract Administration / System Maintenance / Posting Control Flag and is an option that allows the Pending File (IPend) within the Fleet System to be enabled or disabled which has the effect of inhibiting postings. This option may be used if problems are encountered with postings from the previous day and rectification is required.
The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Posting Control Flag Dialogue Box and a series of Command Buttons at the bottom of the form.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
This form displays the following command buttons:
Aborts the procedure and returns to the System Maintenance Menu.
This Inhibit-Posting-Run option is offered if the Pending File is currently set to Permit. Selection of this option stops the invoices being posted to the Pending File.
This Permit-Posting-Run option is offered if the Pending File is currently set to Inhibit. Selection of this option allows invoices to be processed into the Pending File.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
