Accessed via Fleet System Management / Miscellaneous Options / Posting Controls / Product Details and selection of the Split Ratio Tab .
The Split Ratio Tab contains data relating to profit, overhead and excess/under mileage splits for invoicing.
This field specifies the percentage of interest that is to be associated with the VAT assumption that is selected in the first of the two fields immediately following (i.e. Profit - VAT Assumption 1 ). For example, if 75 is entered in this field then 75% of the profit calculated at quotation stage is allocated against the VAT assumption that is selected in the following field (i.e. Profit - VAT Assumption 1 ) e.g. F (Finance). The remaining percentage is allocated to the VAT assumption selected in the second VAT assumption field (i.e. Profit - VAT Assumption 2 ) e.g. M (Maintenance).
There is no facility for entering a split ratio percentage against the third and fourth VAT Assumptions .

A checkbox which, if ticked, enables access to the following Overhead fields which allows the percentage split to be defined between the two VAT assumptions for all items that are classed as Other / Additional Costs . As a result, Other Cost is then unavailable for selection on the rental record.
If the checkbox is left blank, then the Overhead field is unavailable for selection and the Other Cost field on the First, Second, Third and Fourth Tabs is enabled.
