Version Controlling Print Manager Templates

The Print Manager Version form is displayed when you select the Print Manager Form Version Numbers option from the SU MANAGEMENT MENU.

In each Format Stationery being used for Print Manager there is a derived field called "BRAN_50$". This sets the name of the template to print on a form. In the case of multi site /franchise there may be a number of templates used which could require changes at any time. When these changes take place the version of the file is moved on [V01] to [V02] and so on.

Print Manager Version Form

Module: The module of the format stationery you are using.

Check field: The field used to check whether the templates change between companies or to some other criteria. A literal string would go in here, for instance "COMPNO".

Check value: If the check field is "COMPNO", the company number would go in here.

Template Version: The template version number to apply given the module and company number.

Location: The site name to reduce confusion.

Form Version: The form version number to apply given the module and company number.

Buttons:

Exit: Returns you to the Master or Module menu that you are in.

Ad-hoc: Click the Ad-hoc button to construct queries and display or print the result. You can save a query for future use.
