Selecting Submit finance proposal from Enquiry Builder allows details to be entered that are required by finance companies. Select UK Capital Bank.
A finance proposal can only be submitted from the Showroom module and can be sent when raising an Enquiry, Quote or Order.
A customer, vehicle and finance scheme must be selected or the following message is displayed:
Unable to submit Capital Bank finance proposal
Note: If the customer record is locked by another user, a message is displayed and the finance proposal cannot continue until the customer record is unlocked.

The first form on Finance proposal displays the vehicle details being proposed. The fields are unavailable if you are not proposing PCP or HP with balloon finance because this information is not required by the finance company.
If you are proposing a PCP or HP with balloon finance the fields are enabled.
Annual Mileage: Annual mileage of the customer.
Residual value: Residual value of the vehicle being proposed.
Click Next to display the Finance proposal Personal details form.
Note: If all data has not been entered correctly, you cannot proceed.
Title: Customer title.
Note: Title, First name, and Surname cannot be edited. If any are incorrect, amendments must be made through the customer record.
First name: Customer's first name.
Surname: Customer's surname.
Date of Birth: Customer's date of birth. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer record.
Gender: M for male or F for female. Pre-populated if it is held in the customer record.
Marital status: Marital status of the customer. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record. One of:
M: Married
S: Single
D: Divorced
W: Widowed
Because this must be sent to the finance company in the correct format, the Marital status options from which you select are unalterable. They may differ from marital codes held in CRM, Miscellaneous options, Extra lookup maintenance.

Address: Customer address. It cannot be edited. If it is incorrect, amendments must be made through the customer record.
Since: Month and year that the customer started to reside at Address. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record.
Status: Status of the customer. One of:
Owner
Unfurnished tenant
Furnished tenant
Living with parents
Because this must be sent to the finance company in the correct format, the Status options from which you select are unalterable. Status is pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record.
This is displayed only if the customer has been residing at their current address less than the number of months set in the Capital Bank parameters. You cannot continue with the finance proposal if the previous address is also less than the number of months set in the Capital Bank parameters.

Address: The previous customer address field can be entered or amended by clicking the Address button. It displays the Previous Residential Address form that relies on the post code database. Enter a valid post code to populate the previous address.
Since: Month and year that the customer started to reside at the previous address. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record.
Status: Status of the customer. One of:
Owner
Unfurnished tenant
Furnished tenant
Living with parents

Because this must be sent to the finance company in the correct format, the Status options from which you select are unalterable. Status is pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record.
Company: The Company button enables you to search for the current employer. If it is not held already, you can create a company. Doing so attaches the customer record to the company record in CRM. If the customer is already linked to a company record, this field is pre-populated. Company address details can only be amended in the company record. Click Change to find or create a different current employer company record.
Job title: Job title of the customer. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer record.
BOE code: Bank of England (BOE) employment code. The employment codes are UK industry standard and are required by the finance company. These codes are not held on a customer record.
Since: Month and year that the customer started with the current employer. Pre-populated if the information is already held in the customer extra record.
The previous employer form is displayed only if the customer has been employed with his or her current employer less than the number of months set in the Capital Bank parameters. You cannot continue with the finance proposal if the previous employer is also less than the number of months set in the Capital Bank parameters.

The previous employer requires the same information as the Current Employer.
These details are pre-populated if they are already held in the customer extra record.

Sort code: Customer's bank sort code. This must be entered in the correct format, for example 23-15-30.
Account no: Customer's bank account number. This must be entered in the correct format, for example 123456789.
Account name: Customer's bank account name. It can be amended.
Since: Month and year that the customer opened an account with the bank.
Cards: Bank cards that the customer holds.
Option Buttons:
No: Indicates that a joint arrangement for the finance proposal is not required. Selected by default. Click Next to proceed with the finance proposal.
Yes: Indicates that a joint arrangement for the finance proposal is required. It enables the With button. To continue, the same information is required about the joint arrangement customer as for the main customer.
Click Next to display the XML format of the finance proposal. Click Send to send the finance proposal to APAK, who check that all the details are correct and they return an acknowledgement as to whether the finance proposal is successful. The finance proposal is sent from APAK to Capital Bank who return the results accepting or declining the customer for finance. Click Exit to return to the Showroom Enquiry/Quote.
Note: Click the finance proposal line to display the information sent and returned from Capital Bank.
Sequence: The number of times this finance proposal has been submitted to Capital Bank.
Date: Date the finance proposal was submitted to Capital Bank.
Time: Time the finance proposal was submitted to Capital Bank.
User: User who submitted the finance proposal to Capital Bank.
Status: Status of the submitted proposal, for example Waiting, Accepted, Failed, or Referred to the dealer.
Outcome: Outcome from Capital bank for the submitted proposal, for example Accepted as proposed, Declined, or Accepted with conditions.
This displays the XML version of the finance proposal submitted to APAK/Capital bank.
This displays the finance proposal submitted to APAK/Capital bank in a tree format.
This displays the XML acknowledgement received from APAK/Capital bank.
