Note: Add/Modify Mail Aliases is applicable to UNIX systems only.
This form is displayed when you select this option from the SU MANAGEMENT MENU. It enables you to create, amend and delete mail aliases. The creation of a mail alias means that a message can also be sent to this alternative user id.
Available users: Listed here are the individual mail addresses of the users.
Selected aliases: Listed here are the existing aliases, with the user id and its alias alongside.
Highlight the user that you want to create an alias for by clicking on them in the Available user grid.
Use the add alias button -> to add your selection to the selected aliases grid.
The Enter Alias form will appear, type in the alias for this user.
Click the Save button to save the new Mail Alias, the Select CRM company form will appear, click ok.
Click exit.
Highlight the alias to amend from the Selected aliases grid.
Click the Edit Alias button ->. The Edit Alias for: dialogue box appears containing the alias to amend.
Amend the alias as necessary, click Ok.
Click save and the Select CRM company form will appear, click ok.
Click exit.
Select the alias to delete by clicking on it in the Selected aliases grid.
Click the <- Remove button, this will delete the mail alias that you selected.
Buttons:
Add alias ->: Create a new alias
Amend: Amend a user.
<- Remove: Delete an alias
Edit alias ->: Amend an existing alias.
Save: Save the changes that you have made to the mail alias.
Exit: Returns you to the SU MANAGEMENT MENU.
