Maintain Seasonal Tyre's Equipment

The seasonal equipment maintenance function enables the creation or maintenance of Tyre equipment types assigned to a vehicle.

Note: Tyre equipment is defined within the Equipment types setup function.

What do you want to do?

Tyre Maintenance Form

This form is displayed when you click

CRM main menu > Seasonal equipment menu > Seasonal equipment management > New > New Tyre

or

CRM main menu > My Desktop > CRM Vehicle > Vehicle options > Seasonal Equipment > New > New Tyre

or

Point-of-Sale menu > Point-of-Sale > Links > Seasonal Equipment > New > New Tyre

Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Menu bar Toolbar Action
File > Exit Exit.gif Exit the Tyre equipment maintenance function.
File > New Filenew.gif Create a new Tyre equipment record.
File > Delete Delete.gif Delete the selected Tyre equipment record.

Action > Save Save.gif Save the new or maintained Tyre equipment to the Seasonal equipment SEMS record.
Action > Cancel Stop.gif Cancel the creation or maintenance of a Tyre equipment record.

View > Previous Previous.gif Navigate to the previous SEMS tyre equipment record for the selected vehicle.
View > Next Next.gif Navigate to the next SEMS tyre equipment record for the selected vehicle.

Help > Help Help2.gif Displays this Tyre equipment maintenance Help topic in a web browser.

Tyre Area:

Manufacturer: Enter or select the required equipment Manufacturer.

Model: Enter or select the required equipment type model.

Size: Enter or select the required equipment size.

DOT code: Enter the DOT code.

Storage area: Enter or select the required equipment storage location.

Bin: Enter or select the required equipment bin.

Insurance value:

Invoice number:

Invoice Date:

Info: Free text entry information regards the tyre equipment.

Rim Area:

Manufacturer: Enter or select the required equipment Manufacturer.

Size: Enter or select the required equipment size.

Storage area: Enter or select the required equipment storage location.

Bin: Enter or select the required equipment bin.

Specific Area:

Position: Enter or select the required tyre equipment post ion on the vehicle.

Inner tread: Enter the measurement reading for Inner tyre tread.

Middle tread: Enter the measurement reading for Middle tyre tread.

Outer tread: Enter the measurement reading for Outer tyre tread.

Condition Area:

Tyre condition: Enter or select the tyre equipment Condition.

Alloy / Cover condition: Enter or select the alloy / Cover equipment Condition.

Detail buttons:

Wheel nuts: Button to indicate that wheel nuts are available for this tyre equipment.

Centering ring: Button to indicate that centering rings are needed for the tyre equipment.

Rolling direction: Button to indicate that the tyre's have rolling direction indicators for this tyre equipment.

Cover: Button to indicate that wheel covers are available for this tyre equipment.

Balanced: Button to indicate that the wheel need to be balanced for this tyre equipment.

Wheel lock: Button to indicate that wheel lock nuts are available for this tyre equipment.

Wheel lock location: Enter the location of the wheel lock nuts for the tyre equipment.

Storage Dates Area:

Date / Time In: Display or entry area for recording the date / time the equipment was booked INTO the seasonal equipment system.

Date / Time Out: Display or entry area for recording the date / time the equipment was booked Out of the seasonal equipment system.

Select a Manufacturer

To select a manufacturer:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Manufacturer entry field to display a list of the available Manufacturers.

  2. Click a manufacturer from the displayed list populates the Tyre Maintenance form's manufacturer entry field.

Select a Model

To select a model:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Model entry field to display a list of the available Models.

  2. Click a model from the displayed list populates the Tyre Maintenance form's model entry field.

Select a Size

To select a size:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Size entry field to display a list of the available Sizes.

  2. Click a model from the displayed list populates the Tyre Maintenance form's size entry field.

Select a Storage Area

To select a storage area:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Storage area entry field to display a list of the available Storage areas.

  2. Click a storage area from the displayed list populates the Seasonal Equipment Maintenance form's storage area entry field.

Select a BIN

To select a bin:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Bin entry field to display a list of the available Bins.

  2. Click a bin from the displayed list populates the Seasonal Equipment Maintenance form's bin entry field.

Select a Position

To select a position:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Position entry field to display a list of the available Positions.

  2. Click a position from the displayed list populates the Seasonal Equipment Maintenance form's position entry field.

Select a Condition

To select a condition:

  1. Click the Ellipsis DropDown.gif button located next to the Condition entry field to display a list of the available Conditions.

  2. Click a condition from the displayed list populates the Seasonal Equipment Maintenance form's condition entry field.

Navigate To The Next or Previous Tyre Equipment

To navigate to the Next or Previous tyre equipment:

  1. Click the Previous Previous.gif tool bar button navigates to the previous Tyre equipment record.

  2. Click the Next Next.gif tool bar button navigates to the next Tyre equipment record.
