This form is displayed when you select the Commercial vehicle parameters option from the COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DEALERS MENU. It enables you to set up the mapping that triggers additional functionality when a truck WIP is loaded into Point-of-Sale.
Note: In Point-of-Sale > Miscellaneous > Terminal details set your terminal number with the default RTS company as CV.
Warning: If the terminal default is not set up as CV, then the operator will have the added complication of checking and amending the RTS company on the wip header while performing certain routines such as creating credit notes. This is because the RTS company on the wip will default to something other than CV.

The Auto expand vehicle notes in POS casefile check box is selected
The Franchise of the loaded WIP is included in the grid
CHECK BOX:
Auto expand vehicle notes in POS casefile: If this check box is selected, the expanded vehicle notes functionality is turned on.
GRID:
The entries here dictate the manufacturer or franchise to which the expanded vehicle notes functionality applies.
Franchise: Code in the WIP record identifying the manufacturer or franchise that triggers the expanded vehicle notes functionality
Untitled column: Name of the manufacturer or franchise
MS company: Code in the Manufacturer systems module of Autoline identifying the manufacturer or franchise that triggers the expanded vehicle notes functionality
Note: If the Parts Customers tab is not displayed, ensure that the file CV.MS.cvspc has been created.
Utilise CV style parts customer look-up: Tick to invoke the new Parts customer identification (address-only accounts) functionality in Point-of-Sale
Address account creation priority in POS (0-9): This priority is matched against the user's login priority. The user must be equal to or greater than the priority held in this field in order to create new address accounts from Point-of-Sale.
Valid invoice account types: Enter account types of sales ledger accounts to be listed in the Customer Accounts search form when using the program to create an address-only account within Point-of-Sale.
Note: Leave this field blank to see only accounts with an account type blank. Enter a space followed by Z to see accounts with account types blank and Z in the search results. It is unlikely that W (Warranty) or I (Internal) would be entered in this field.
