When I load a vehicle onto the WIP, I never see any recall campaigns displayed. |
Cause: |
This could be for a number of reasons:
The Dealer profile is not active. Check the Active flag in the GM CIS web service parameters.
There are genuinely no recall campaigns for the vehicle. Confirm this by logging onto the GM CIS website and doing a VIN enquiry from there.
There is a problem with the GM CIS web service. Contact GM to confirm the status of their web service.
Stunnel is not configured correctly or is not running.

I get the message Error requesting information from the GM CIS server. Please check the chassis number is correct. |
Cause: |
See below. |

Ensure you have the correct 17 character chassis number. |

I get the message O30.022 SOAP error: Unable to GET WSDL file, open failed: SSL initialization failed, host: pre-gm.ips-software.de, port: 443 SSL err 3 (Failed to load shared library). |
Cause: |
OpenSSL is required by KCML to make Secure Socket connections to the GM web service. Open SSL is either not installed or incorrectly set up. |
