TIS 2000 is a program provided by Vauxhall (GM), which enables you to select a vehicle and then look up labour times. TIS 2000 can be run from Autoline Point-of-Sale. The vehicle identity is passed to TIS 2000 and the labour times and costs corresponding to the selected operations can be used to complete the Vauxhall (GM) - TIS 2000 Interface form, and the labour operation details added to the current Point-of-Sale WIP.
Before this facility can be used, both Autoline GM Labour Times Setup and the TIS 2000 software must be installed and configured. This is normally performed by, or on advice from, a consultant.
To load labour lines from TIS 2000 in Point of Sale
From the Point of Sale menu select the Point of sale option.
A Select Item from Menu prompt is displayed.
Select the Service option and log in.
The Service Point of Sale form is displayed.
In the New product group box, use the drop-down arrow to select GM General motors and then the ellipsis button
to select Labour.
A TIS 2000 Labour Times form is displayed. There should be an automatic switch to the TIS 2000 application but otherwise it may be necessary to use the ALT+TAB keys or your taskbar buttons.
Tip: If TIS 2000 won't open it may be locked up. Go into the TIS 2000 Diagnostic Tool and click the Kill Process button on the Troubleshooting page. If this happens frequently, set up a shortcut to the Diagnostic Tool.
Select the Model, Model Year, Engine and Transmission required, then click the Next button.
Another TIS 2000 Labour Times form is displayed, from which you can select the Major and Supplementary Operations required.
Tip:Use the ALT+TAB keys or your Windows Taskbar buttons to switch between Autoline Point of Sale and TIS 2000.
Return to Autoline Point-of-Sale.
The Vauxhall (GM) - TIS 2000 Interface form is displayed.
Note: When you have finished in TIS 2000, minimise its window rather than closing it.
This form is displayed when, having used the TIS 2000 Labour Times facility to select the numbers of the Major Operations and Supplementary Operations required, you return to Autoline Point-of Sale. You will find that the form has been updated with the information copied from TIS 2000.

PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Returns you to the Service Point-of-Sale form, with your labour time and cost records added
Cancel: Returns you to the Service Point-of-Sale form, with your labour time and cost records ignored
Reset: Clears all lines in the Vauxhall (GM) - TIS 2000 Interface form
Add setup: Enables you to add a Setup Code. The button is active if the code has been defined in the Warranty Extra RTS codes table in Warranty.
