This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems > X2. Generic - Accounts > Menu - Utilities > Generic Accounting Parameters and you browse to + Controlling > + Asset Register parameters > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser. It maintains Asset Register parameter records for the selected company.
Retain disposed asset settings:
Remove disposed asset: Select to delete disposed assets when running a Asset Register Year End Procedure. The actual delete is dependend on the next parameter Disposed asset retention days.
Disposed asset retention days: This field will be unavailable if the previous parameter Remove disposed asset is not selected. Type in the number of retention days. If the previous parameter Remove disposed asset is selected and the number of retention days is greater than zero (0) the program will calculate the number of days from the date the asset was sold to the end of year period when running a Asset Register Year End Procedure. If the calculated number of days is less than the parameter entered the record will not be deleted. If the parameter entered is zero (0) all records will be deleted regardless of the date the asset was sold.
