The facility to transfer a deposit from one customer or company record to another is a simple process. From within the Take deposits function perform the following instructions.
Click on the open button at the top of the form to access the Open deposit form. Select the appropriate radio button, enter any data required and click the OK button.
Select the deposit for transfer from the Select Item From List form.
Click the details tab and the Detail form will be displayed with all the relevant details of the deposit to be transferred. This is to enable the user to check they have selected the correct deposit.
Click on the Transfer deposit to another Company/Customer button and the Deposit Transfer Form is displayed showing the following fields.
Transfer from: Displays the Customer or Company record currently attached to the deposit.
Transfer to: Enter the name of the Customer or Company to which the deposit is to be transferred. The entry of the name invokes an automatic search of the CRM database.
Enter the customer's name into the Transfer to: field.
Tab through the field to display the Company/Customer search form, once the company or customer has been selected, click on the OK button.
The Customer or Company name will be entered in full in the Transfer to: field, click OK button to continue.
The Details tab will be re-displayed with all the relevant details entered for the deposit to be transferred.
Click on the Process button to perform the transfer.
Note: A message prompt will display to confirm that the deposit will be transferred to the selected Customer/Company record.
Click on the OK button to complete the transfer of the deposit.
Click on the Print daybook button to process the transaction into the accounts.
