To access the receive depot transfer option:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point-of-Sale Module and the Company you require.
The Point-of-Sale Menu is displayed.
From the Point-of-Sale Menu select Receive depot transfers.
The Receive Depot Transfer form is displayed.
The receive depot transfers option should be used to receive stock ordered goods created by and transferred to your depot by your designated warehouse. The menu option will be available to you only if your depot is not a warehouse.
This form is displayed when you select the Receive depot transfer option from the Point-of-Sale menu.
Note: This option is available only if your depot is identified as a depot belonging to a warehouse as defined in the Point-of-Sale, miscellaneous options Depots and branches file, Buddy branches tab.
On selection the form displays WIPs that are available to be received. The WIPs displayed are made up of stock orders produced and transferred to your depot by your warehouse. Click the required WIP number to select it for processing.
Buttons:
Receive stock: This button is enabled once a WIP has been selected. Click to receive the stock from the WIP. The selected WIP number is then highlighted in red to indicate that it has been processed.
Binning-list: After stock has been received against a WIP this button is enabled. Click to print a binning-list if required.
Exit: Click to exit this form and return to the Point-of-Sale main menu.
Help: Displays help on the current topic in your company's default browser.
When the WIP has been received using the Receive stock option, the parts lines are set to deleted on the WIP and the stock is added to your depot's stock file.
