Parts Discounting - Discounts

What do you want to do?

• Create a discount code.
• Amend a discount code.
• Delete a discount code.

Discount Form

This form is displayed when you click Point-of -Sale > Miscellaneous options > Discount setup > Lookups > Discount codes.

Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Menu bar	Toolbar	Action
Exit > Exit		Exit the Discount maintenance function and return to the Discount setup form.
Edit > Create		Create a new discount code.
Edit > Amend		Amend an existing discount code.
Edit > Delete		Delete an existing discount code.
Help > Help		Displays this Discounts Help topic in a web browser.

Discount Code Area:

Code: Defines a unique discount code.

Description: Description of the unique discount code.

Create a Discount Code Record

1. Clicking the Create button displays a blank codes record.

2. Enter the new discount Code, Description .

3. Pressing Enter or Tab creates a new discount code record.

Amend a Discount Code Record

1. Clicking the discount code record you want to amend activates the Amend button.

2. Clicking the Amend button enables the maintenance of the discount Code, Description.

3. Amend the customer discount Code, Description.

4. Pressing Enter or Tab maintains the discount code record.

Delete a Discount Code Record

1. Clicking the discount record you want to delete activates the Delete button.

2. Clicking the Delete button deletes the selected discount code record.
