Reminder Notices are displayed as an integral part of the Point-of-Sale (POS) and the Vehicle Health Check (VHC) systems and are displayed when the vehicle loaded within Point-of-Sale has reminders that have gone past the customer requested work request date.
What do you want to do?
This form is displayed when you click Point-of -Sale > Point-of-Sale > Load vehicle into a WIP.
Note: The vehicle must have had reminders previously created as part of the Vehicle Health Check (VHC) process.
Outstanding Reminders Grid
+ / - : Enables the Expansion (+) or Collapse (-) visibility of parts associated with a Repair Time Schedule code.
RTS: Displays the Repair Time Schedule code associated with the reminder.
Due Date: Displays the date that the reminder was due.
Text: Displays the text from the Up-sell record or from the reminder free text area.
Note: Text is limited to 70 characters.
Cr Oper: Displays the operator ID of the person who created the reminder.
Create Date: Displays the date the reminder was created.
AM oper: Displays the operator ID of the person who last amended the reminder.
Amend Date: Displays the date the reminder was last amended.
Quoted: Displays the value quoted.
Load Mode: Enables the selection of an action mode to be taken.
Load: Indicates that the menu details from the reminder are to be uploaded into Point-of-Sale and Workshop Loading (Where installed).
Ignore Indicates that the reminder is to be ignored during the current process.
Delete: Indicates that the reminder is to be removed from the system.
Note: Lost sale information is activated when the load mode is set to D - Delete.
Lost Sale: Enables the selection of a lost sale code which is recorded within the CRM statistics system.
Lost sale description: Displays the description of the lost sale.
Buttons:
OK: Activates the functions required as defined by the Load mode option.
Cancel: Cancel the display of the Review Reminders Notice function.
Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.
Clicking the Down arrow 
located within the required Reminder Notice transactions Load Mode, displays a list of the available options for selection.
Load: Indicates that the menu details from the reminder are to be uploaded into Point-of-Sale and Workshop Loading (Where installed).
Ignore Indicates that the reminder is to be ignored during the current process.
Delete: Indicates that the reminder is to be removed from the system.
Clicking the Load option loads the menu line into the current POS WIP and also into Workshop Loading (Where installed).
Clicking the Down arrow located within the required Reminder Notice transactions Load Mode, displays a list of the available options for selection.
Load: Indicates that the menu details from the reminder are to be uploaded into Point-of-Sale and Workshop Loading (Where installed).
Ignore Indicates that the reminder is to be ignored during the current process.
Delete: Indicates that the reminder is to be removed from the system.
Clicking the Ignore option indicates that the selected Reminder is not to be actioned during the current process.
Clicking the Down arrow located within the required Reminder Notice transactions Load Mode, displays a list of the available options for selection.
Load: Indicates that the menu details from the reminder are to be uploaded into Point-of-Sale and Workshop Loading (Where installed).
Ignore Indicates that the reminder is to be ignored during the current process.
Delete: Indicates that the reminder is to be removed from the system.
Clicking the Delete option indicates that the selected Reminder is to be removed from the system.
Double clicking a reminder transaction line displays the Edit Reminder Text form.
Maintain the Edit Reminder Text form as necessary.
Select OK to complete the maintenance of the Edit Reminder Text form.
This form is displayed when you click Point-of -Sale > Point-of-Sale > Double click a reminder notice transaction.
Text Grid Area
The text grid area allows for the recording of 70 character of text associated with the vehicle reminder notice.
Buttons:
OK: Accepts the maintained text and returns to the Review Reminder Notices form.
Cancel: Cancel the maintenance of Reminder text.
