CAP provides the motor industry, amongst other things, with used vehicle valuation information. This information is accumulated from sample auction values, prices obtained from dealers and various other sources. The data is refreshed on a monthly basis and is supplied to dealers on diskette directly by CAP. This information is integrated with the Autoline system in the CAP module.
The CAP data module enables you to:
Download the data and update your Autoline system via a simple-to-use process.
Carry out maintenance of the data files concerned.
Request used car valuations outside of the CRM Enquiries or Showroom modules.
To access the locator codes from CAP:
When accessing this option, you will be prompted with a message, asking to create locator files.
Continue: Enable the locator files to be created
Cancel: Cancels the process and returns you to the Miscellaneous menu
