Workshop Jobs Operator Filter Form

The Workshop Jobs Operator Filter form, if installed, filters the jobs listed on the Jobs form. You can specify the criteria for filtering, so that a subset of all jobs is displayed. This makes it easier to find the job, or jobs, you are interested in.

Filtering Workshop Jobs

To filter the jobs listed on the Jobs form:

  1. From the Autoline Master menu click Point of Sale > Point of Sale > Service.

    The Service POS form is displayed.

  2. From the menu bar of the Service POS form, select Workshop > Load.

    The Workshop Launch Control form is displayed.

  3. Click the Jobs button.

    The Jobs list is displayed.

  4. Right-click the Owner header on the Jobs form.

    The Workshop Jobs Operator Filter form is displayed.

  5. Choose the category of filter you want to apply to the jobs, by selecting one of the buttons on this form.

    The filter criteria for that category are displayed in the list box.

  6. Select the filter that you want to apply from the list and click OK.

    The jobs that you have filtered are displayed on the Jobs form.

Workshop Jobs Operator Filter Form

This form, if installed, is displayed when you right-click the Owners header on the Jobs form. It filters the jobs listed on the Jobs form. You can specify the criteria for filtering, so that a subset of all jobs is displayed. This makes it easier to find the job, or jobs, you are interested in.

Option Buttons:

Filter by action: Populates the list box with actions that can be used to filter the Jobs list.

Filter by operator: Populates the list box with a list of operators that can be used to filter the Jobs list.

No filter: Applies no filter to the Jobs list. Displays all jobs.

List Box:

The contents of the list box depend upon the option button that is selected.

If Filter by action selected:

If Filter by operator selected:

Displays names of all operators with jobs in progress.

If No Filter selected:

The list box is empty.
