The Build Specifications form is displayed, when the option is selected from the FRANCHISE DATA menu.
This option sets up full specification of all of the vehicles that are currently available for sale within a given franchise or franchises. Build specification allows the addition of various options, including those available from the manufacturer and dealership, to the vehicles offered by the franchise. This option is like a computerized brochure, of all vehicle with their options supplied, this allows users to add new options, remove redundant options and set option prices, categories, exclusion and inclusions.
It is possible to have more than one Price Generation or view. This is found in the specification parameters of the form. These views can be used by manufacturers to identify each price list.
The Build specification form displays each available franchise in the tree, by clicking the + (plus) symbol, will expand the franchise to view the models for that franchise. For each model click on the + symbol. This will expand to display the variants for that model.
Options can be created at each franchise, model or variant level. In addition to this their availability and pricing can be defined at any level.
