Surcharge Credits

When a menu is selected, the system checks to see if the part contains a surcharge value. If it does, the Surcharge Credit form is displayed, asking if the old part is being returned. If you answer Yes, the system will create an additional line for the credit of the surcharge amount when you load the menu onto the WIP.

Surcharge Credit Form

The Surcharge Credit form is displayed after the system checks a part for alternative fluid codes, if the part contains a surcharge value. Within this form, you must identify whether the old part is being returned.

Part number: The Volvo part number.

Description: A description of the part.

Quantity: The number of units required for the menu involved.

Surcharge: The amount that will be paid to the customer when they return the dirty unit.

Price without surcharge: The selling price of the part, excluding the surcharge.

Price with surcharge: The selling price of the part, including the surcharge.

PUSH BUTTONS:

Yes: Click the Yes button if the old part is being returned.

No: Click the No button if the old part is not being returned.
