The Permission and privacy statement (PPS) development provides functionality to support dealers in dealing with the privacy of customers (for targets and companies) and the data collected about them.
The functionality provided makes it possible to define a statement that can be presented to the customers to ask them permission to use data collected about them for marketing purposes.
Note: This project was developed as a part of MBC POS requirements.
The parameters for the permission and privacy statement functionality are partially setup per CRM Company and partially per Point-of-sale Company. It is important the mappings of Point-of-companies to CRM companies are setup correctly as the permission and privacy statement functionality depends on it.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to + Service > + Permission and Privacy statement > [Company] on the Project parameters browser.
