The Investigate Errors Form is displayed after the Error investigation option from the Manage profile changes menu is selected.
During the import of data, errors might occur. An example of these errors is for instance list codes cannot be found.
If an error occurs, the record is withheld in the temporary buffer with status error.
With a Right-click on a row you can select the required status for one record.
You can solve errors in two ways by setting the status of a record to Delete or OK.
Setting the status of a record to OK, the system processes the record during the next import run. At that moment the user overrules the errors and the normal update procedure takes place.
Setting the status of a record to Delete, the system removes the record form the temporary buffer. Thus, the record is not processed.
Fields
Marketing company: By default the errors for all Marketing companies are displayed. By selecting the required Marketing company from the list a filter is applied.
In the list the concerning fields of a record are displayed.
Type: Indicates the record type (see Legend for an explanation)
Magic: Magic number that Autoline gives to a record proceeded with a company number. This field displays a zero preceded with a company number when it concerns a new record. For the contact records, the customer magic is shown.
Name: The customer name, the company name or the vehicle variant is displayed.
Main details: For both companies and customers the address details are displayed. For vehicle records the description is displayed.
In case of a contact record, the contact code and the contact group are displayed.
S: Status, that indicates whether an Error message is displayed in the list.
Errors: For each record the main errors are displayed. In case the error message is too large, just hover over the cell and all the details are displayed.
