Category groups

The starting point for the Data Quality (DQ) Sensor is the definition of the Category groups. The Category groups are used to specify the different Measurement Categories.

Note: The category groups are retrieved from an XML file, this file is stored on the Autoline server. If the XML file doesn't exist, it is automatically created when you open the Category Groups Maintenance form. You can find the file in a subdirectory of the systems main directory (../DQSensor/Settings).

Although the first five groups are fixed, you can add a Category group here. These added groups are for informational purpose only.

Note: Only the Category groups one to five inclusive are considered in Mercedes-Benz DQ Sensor.
