Tip: The Location field on the Header tab of the Take Deposits form is validated (via the company mapping when the Take Deposits function is not started in the VS module) with the VSB company set on the Detail tab of the Locations form versus the module/company from which the Take Deposits function is used.
The General Accounting Parameters contains two parameter forms:
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Controlling > + General Accounting > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser. It maintains General Accounting parameters records for the selected company.

E-mail Accounting: Enter the user id of the user, whom wishes to receive email after an accounting communication file is send or received.
Note: Please make sure that the concerning Communication types are set up.
Include paid items: Select to display the paid items in the transactions in both Purchase ledger and Sales ledger.
Preferred sort order: Select the Sort direction regarding the transactions displayed in Nominal ledger, Purchase ledger and Sales ledger.
1 Forwards: Sorting direction in the transactions display is forwards.
2 Backwards: Sorting direction in the transactions display is backwards.
Sort account total column: Select to start the display of the account total column for backwards sorting with the total outstanding amount.
Credit limit check:
Skip Credit limit check: Select to create an invoice in the Point of Sale and Vehicle Stockbooks for the concerning Sales Ledger account, in case the Credit limit is not sufficient but the Period (days) of the selected Credit terms and/or VSB Credit terms are set to zero (0).
When used in Vehicle Stockbooks the invoice is printed without a warning, in case the Credit limit of the Sales ledger account has exceeded but the Period of the VSB Credit terms is set to zero (0). The values of the Credit terms are use, when the VSB Credit terms are not set up for the Sales Ledger account concerned.
When using this function in Point of Sale it is possible to print the invoice, in case the Credit limit of the Sales Ledger account has exceeded but the Period of the Credit terms is set to zero (0). If the user changes the Sales ledger account on the WIP to an account which has insufficient credit but has Credit terms with a period larger than zero, the following message is displayed.
Credit limit exceeded, your priority allows you to continue using the selected account only for cash sales. Selecting ‘No’ will impose the Cash-account.
Yes: Allows the user to use the selected account but changes the Credit terms on the WIP to the Credit terms of the Default account set up in the Terminal details.
No: Imposes the Cash account, which is set up as the Default account on the Terminal details.
Despite the Edit credit terms POS parameter, it is not possible to change Credit terms on the WIP when this Skip Credit limit check function is used.
Note: The Skip Credit limit check parameter is only applicable to the Sales ledger companies. This functions assumes that the Default account, on the Terminal details, has Credit terms with a zero period.
NOT allow using POS Default account: Select to not make the use of a default account in case of a failing credit check possible, the Credit check failed message is displayed. The system will use the selected account but the Credit terms on the WIP are set to the Credit terms of the Default account set up in the Terminal details.
Despite the Edit credit terms POS parameter, it is not also possible to change Credit terms on the WIP when this NOT allow using POS Default account function is used.
Note: This setting is only applicable for Point of Sale.
SL Cash Posting Printer Selection:
Allow SL receipt printer to be selected: Select to make the selection of an alternative receipt printer in Sales ledger Cash posting & allocation available.
Default Printer: Select a default printer which is used in Sales ledger Cash posting & allocation instead of the terminal printer.
The grid is populated with the Accrual/journal Types. Here the user can map the Journal types against the document types. The mapped document type is automatically set when selecting the Journal type in the following functions:

Purchase Ledger > Invoice Register > Enter Registered Documents

Tip: The Journal type mapping tab is available for every nominal ledger company which is Live.

Sales ledger: Select the required document type required for the Journal type:
