Menupricing Regions

The Menu pricing region matrix facilitates the assignment of regional codes associated with specific Point-of-Sale (POS) companies. This enables the differentiation of packages and prices between operational regions.

Menupricing Regions Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to System > Menupricing regions > [MB. Mercedes-Benz] on the Project parameters browser.

Tip: Subject to your user priorities, you can also change these settings via Point of Sales > Required company > Point-of-Sales > Links > Utilities > SPPS > Settings > Region matrix.

Fields:

Region: Enter the code and the description of the region.

Note: Menu packages are imported and stored in the MS-MB environment; it is possible that per region different packages and prices are used.

Server directory: Enter the file location where the SPPS files will be stored for the End of Day process.

Note: The server directory is mandatory for processing the SPPS files in End of Day process.

POS-Companies: Using the grid, select all POS companies that are part of this specific region.

Adding a Region

To add a new region:

  1. Click the New element or the NewProgram.gif icon in the project parameters browser.
    The Menupricing Regions form is displayed.
  2. Click the Amend toolbar button tbOptions.gif or click the Edit > Amend menu bar command, enter the Region and complete the parameter fields concerned.
  3. Click the Save toolbar button Save.gif or click the Edit > Save menu bar command, to save your changes.
    Your parameter are represented as a REGION parameter element in the browser, with the Region appended.

Amending a Region

To amend a region:

  1. Click the REGION element that represents the settings you want to change.
    The Menupricing Regions form is displayed for the region you selected.
  2. Click the Amend toolbar button tbOptions.gif or click the Edit > Amend menu bar command and make the changes.
  3. Click the Save toolbar button Save.gif or click the Edit > Save menu bar command, to save your changes.

Deleting a Region

To delete a region:

  1. Click the REGION element that represents the parameters you want to delete.
    The Menupricing Regions form is displayed.
  2. Click the Amend toolbar button tbOptions.gif or click the Edit > Amend menu bar command.
    The Delete toolbar button is available.
  3. Click the Delete toolbar button Cross.gif or click the Edit > Delete menu bar command.
    You are prompted to confirm deletion.
  4. Click Yes to delete the settings.
    The record is deleted and the parameter element is removed from the browser.
