The Communication program makes sure that all Autoline programs can write a one file-format. Also enables the program you to send files in the right format, using the right protocols, etc.
Generaly there are two types of communication, incoming and outgoing. Programs such as 'Submit stock order', 'Submit warranty claims', etc are normally outgoing communication, in that case you will send a file. In cases of Incoming communication Autoline will receive a file, like the 'Upload Advice notes' program or the 'import of Warranty credits'.
The communication program can be started on-line or in the timed operations. If the program runs in the timed operations, the sequence of the programs in Timed Operations is important.
Before you can send or receive files in the communication program, you must ensure that you set up the Autoline system correctly.
