Introduction

The Autoline EKS interface synchronizes the Autoline Marketing information with the Marketing information in the EKS program. This synchronization is done with file transfer from and to Autoline. These files will be transmitted and received via CDIF with the Autoline Communication module.

Modules involved

Marketing: The information that is retrieved from the EKS system is stored on the Mercedes-Benz Specifics Information tabs on respectively the company, target and vehicle tab of the Marketing module.

Manufacturer Systems module: The EKS parameters and the import facility are stored in the Manufacturer Systems module.

Vehicle Stock Book: The VSB records of the vehilce's are updated with the imported EKS information.

Set-up

Before you can import the EKS information, you must ensure that you set up the Autoline system correctly.
