Introduction

The Logisticbus Interface will create an export file for with part movements from a certain period in Autoline. This export file will be sent to the LOGISTICBUS program.

The Logisticbus program will create a parts order with help of the parts movements from Autoline. This parts order file will be sent to the SPICS program and to Autoline. Autoline can import the parts order file and create a Purchase Order in the Purchase Control module. The SPICS program will create an order confirmation file and sent to the dealer. The parts itself will be delivered at the dealer.

The Logisticbus program also creates SAR files, which Autoline can import and process.

Set-up

Before you can use the LOGISTICBUS interface, you must setup the LOGISTICBUS parameters and the Mercedes-Benz parameters in the Autoline system first.
