The Baumuster search screen is opened when for example labour is searched and no chassisnumber is known. All fields on the screen are explained below.
Fields:
Chassisnumber: The chassinumber of the car on the WIP.
Chassis: The World manufacturer code.
Search text: Field in which you enter text to search the correct baumuster.
P/C: Book number, consists of (00) for passenger cars or (10) for commercial vehicle.
Baumuster: Baumuster of the chassisnumber.
Steering: Code for the left or right steering car.
Plant: Factory where the car is build.
Fam.Grp.: Displays the family group code.
Type code.: Displays the type code.
Product from / until: Product range of the vehicle.
Motor from / until: Motor range of the vehicle.
Model from / until: Model range of the vehicle.
Description: Description of the model.
Buttons:
OK: To continue, select the OK button after you have selected the correct chassisnumber.
Cancel: To cancel without consequences, select the Cancel button.
Help: To start the helpfunction, press the Help button.
Note: If the chassis validation has not been deactivated and the chassis validation in Point-of-Sale, VSB or CRM failed to find the corresponding Baumuster record the system will check the user's priority. If the user's priority is high enough to allow him to maintain the Baumuster table, then the user will be asked if he wants to create a new Baumuster record. If the user selects Yes this form is displayed where the user will be allowed to create a new record or copy the details from an existing record. After returning from the Baumuster 80 screen the system will check again whether now a corresponding Baumuster record exists. This will be repeated until either a corresponding Baumuster record has been found or the user has selected No.
