Dealer Campaigns

For dealers it is possible to create their own campaigns.

Create a dealer campaign

To create a new dealer campaign, you must:

• Select from the Service Campaign menu the Manual Entry Dealer Campaign option.

  The Manual entry of Dealer Campaigns screen below is opened.

• Select from the File menu the New option.

  The New Campaign screen is opened.

• Select the Yes button to create a campaign.

  A screen is opened with the assigned Campaign ID is shown.

• Select the OK button to continue.

All the fields on the Campaign header information are explained below:

Unique ID: Every campaign has a unique ID number given by the system.

Campaign ID: Manually entered campaign ID.

Campaign number: Manually entered campaign number.

Code word: Code word for the campaign.

Description: Description for the campaign.

Valid from: Start date of the campaign.

Valid until: End date of the campaign.

Packagenumber: Number of the menu, part or labour line used in the campaign.

Complete the fields on the Campaign header information.

To add a chassis - or motor range to a campaign, you must:

• Click with your right mouse button on the header of the range.

  A menu appears with the Add, Change and Delete options.

• In this case, select the Add option.

  A new line is created in which the rages can be entered.

Select from the File menu the Save option to save the dealer campaign and leave the program by selecting the Exit option from the File menu.

After you have saved the campaign, it is possible process the campaign onthe same way as an Service Campiagn. Only when you try to send a dealer campaign in the Send Service Campaign to Daimler AG option, you get a warning.
