UVS-Out As Instant Inquiry Tool

You can use the UVS-Out interface as an instant inquiry tool in various modules and via a shortcut on your desktop.

To create a shortcut on your Desktop

1. Select from the Main menu the Manufacturer Systems option, combined with company MB.

   The Mercedes-Benz Main Menu is displayed.

2. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, the Menu - Sales option.

   The Mercedes-Benz Sales menu is displayed.

3. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Sales menu, the Menu - Vehicle information option.

   The Mercedes-Benz Vehicle information menu is displayed.

4. Right-click on the program name Retrieve Vehicle Information.

   The Shortcut menu is displayed.

5. Click Add to Desktop.

   The Setup desktop grids form is displayed.

6. Select the correct tab the shortcut should be created on.

   Click on an empty block where the shortcut should be created.

   If necessary, you can rename the shortcut.

7. Click the OK button to save the shortcut.

8. The shortcut is created on your desktop.

In case no chassis number is available for Trade-in of Showroom, WIP of POS and new / used vehicle of VSB, you can use the UVS-Out option as an instant inquiry tool where you can enter any valid chassis number. For instance via POS this can be used at selling parts over the counter.
