Edit Labour Details Form

The Edit Labour Details form is displayed when you right-click/double-click on the grid of the Labour Details Tab on the Estimate Maintenance Form. The Edit Details form allows you to create or amend labour details for a specific RTS code selected from the Details tab.

Labour Detail:

Code: Repair Time Schedule code supplied by the subsystem, allowing the work to be carried out.

Note: Some subsystems do not supply manufacturer RTS codes, but use their own.

Desc: A full description of the work to be carried out.

Status: Valid line status designations are: <BLANK>, W, C, D

Type: When printing estimates, the system needs a method of knowing how to total the individual lines. The Type field allows the user to change the total that includes this line. The totals are broken down into 3 areas - Labour, Additional costs and Parts.

Labour Breakdown:

Some subsystems only supply a single time for Panel and paint times (for instance repair and repaint). Some operations are likely to require more than one mechanic so the breakdown lines allow you to subdivide the subsystem supplied time into constituent times. When added to the estimate, only the first breakdown line contains information from the subsystem.

Employee: Employee\Team number(s) - these can be allocated during estimate production and are carried across to the WIP when created.

Allowed: maximum time allocated to completing a job.

Note: All times used in Bodyshop Estimating are specified in decimal, - i.e. 1.5 is one-and-a-half hours.

customer: Optimum time for the employee\team to complete a job.

Type: Labour type - The labour types data from the SO rates (labour rates) file identifies the type of labour to the Point-of-Sale function. To change the Labour type press [...].

Rate: Labour rate charged. This may be different from the rate stored in the Point of Sale rate files.

Note: Any line changed from the original line supplied by the subsystem is shown in RED on the labour list screen.

Cancel: Discard any changes, and return to the labour list screen.

OK: Return to the labour list screen.
