Add Contact Option Form

This form is displayed when you right-click a line in the grid on the Script Editor's Contact Options tab and select Add from the pop-up menu, or when you double-click a line in the grid. It enables you to add a new contact option.

Tip: Use the Ellipsis buttons [...] to select from a menu of options to insert derived field logic into the fields. The values C, G, etc., can then change subject to the contents of the derived field.

Contact Information

Note: Literal text must be in double quotes.

Reason: The reason for the contact

Contact code or group: The marketing/CRM contact group or type

Contact / Group?: If the field above is a contact code, enter C, otherwise enter G

Cost centre: The department responsible for the contact

Origin: The department or individual who prompted the contact record's creation

Strength: The contact's strength / temperature

Follow up code: The type of contact required to follow up the contact

Follow up exec: The individual responsible for next contacting the customer

Date / Time

Tip: Only enter Follow up date and Follow up time if the same data is required in these fields every time the script is run, otherwise leave these fields blank.

Follow up date: Prefix a Julian date (UK-format) with !J_, for example !J_10/9/01

Follow up time: Prefix a 24-hour time with !T_, for example !T_10:30

Note: Values are "Y" or "N" in double quotes.

Create contact?: Save a contact record in the target/customer's contact file

Create diary entry?: Create an entry for the follow-up in the Follow up exec's Administrator diary
