This form is displayed when you select Links > Global Booking View from the
Contact Management home page or click the Global Booking View 
button. The form displays information about the Workshop availability in the Point-of-Sale companies linked to the CM home page you are currently in. It is only available when a call is selected but not loaded from the call queue. It is designed to give an overview of when it may be possible to book a vehicle into the workshop before the call is started. Availability will, however, depend on exactly what is loaded to the WIP.
Menu Bar and Toolbar:
Menu bar Toolbar Action File > Exit Closes the Global booking form and returns you to the CM Homepage. View > Refresh Refreshes and updates the Workshop Loading grid. View > Period > Weekly Changes the Workshop Loading grid view to display two weeks. View > Period > Monthly Changes the Workshop Loading grid view to display one month. View > Show hours worked in weekly detail? When ticked, displays the hours booked on the grid rather than the workshop availability. View > Workshop loading Loads the Workshop Loading grid in Point-of-Sale. Criteria > Courtesy car? Refreshes the grid to show courtesy car availability. Help > Help Displays this help topic in a web browser.
The Date group consists of a date field and buttons that can be used to change the data viewed in the grid. These are functional regardless of whether you are viewing Workshop Loading or Courtesy Vehicle availability. The options available are:
Single Left arrow: Enables you to view two weeks' workshop capacity chart starting with the day before the one displayed in the date field (weekly period selected) or a month's workshop capacity chart starting with the day two weeks earlier than the one displayed in the date field (monthly period selected).
Double left arrow: Enables you to view two weeks' workshop capacity chart starting with the day two weeks earlier than the one displayed in the date field (weekly period selected) or a month's workshop capacity chart starting with the day one month earlier than the one displayed in the date field (monthly period selected).
Preferred date: Refreshes the workshop capacity chart so that today's date is the first date of two weeks shown (weekly period selected) or the first date of one month shown (monthly period selected).
The date displayed in the date field determines the first date selected in the grid, which shows two weeks if the weekly period is selected or one month if the monthly period is selected. The date can be manually typed in or selected from the
ellipsis search.
Double right arrow: Enables you to view two weeks' workshop capacity chart starting with the day two weeks later than the one displayed in the date field (weekly period selected) or a month's workshop capacity chart starting with the day one month later than the one displayed in the date field (monthly period selected).
Single right arrow: Enables you to view two weeks' diary starting with the day following the one displayed in the date field (weekly period selected) or a month's workshop capacity chart starting with the day two weeks later than the one displayed in the date field (monthly period selected).
The capacity groups shows a legend for the colours displayed on the grid, as follows:
Grey: No capacity
Red: Less than 20% capacity
Yellow: 20% to 80% capacity
Green: Greater than 80% capacity
You can move between the Workshop Capacity grid and the Skill Capacity Detail grid by clicking the Next and Back buttons.
The Workshop Capacity grid displays the hours either available or booked (depending on the view selected). Each linked Point-of-Sale is listed in the default view. Both the courtesy vehicle and Workshop Loading capacity are displayed as a colour-coded block for each day.
The skill capacity detail grid shows the availability of the skills available at the location selected. This is a detailed view of the skill resource availability, enabling you to better decide when a customer could be booked in.
Buttons:
Back: This button is enabled when the Skill capacity detail grid is displayed. It returns you to the Workshop capacity grid.
Next: This button is enabled after a date in the Workshop capacity grid has been clicked. It displays the Skill capacity detail grid.
Finish: This button is enabled when the Skill capacity details grid is displayed. It closes the form and returns you to the CM homepage.
Cancel: Closes the form and returns you to the CM Homepage
