What do you want to do?
To assign agents to a group:
Select the Group membership option from the Miscellaneous options menu
The Group Membership form is displayed.
Select the Groups radio button and use the grids to associate agents with a selected group
Agent records are assigned to a group.
To assign groups to an agent:
Select the Group membership option from the Miscellaneous options menu
The Group Membership form is displayed.
Select the Agents radio button and use the grids to associate groups with a selected agent
Groups are assigned to an agent record.
This form is displayed when you select Group membership from the Miscellaneous options menu. It enables you to assign agents to a group or groups to an agent.
Select Left Grid RADIO BUTTONS:
Agents: Displays agent records in the left-hand grid, groups being displayed in the right-hand grid
Groups: Displays groups in the left-hand grid, agent records being displayed in the right-hand grid
Tip: The radio button you select determines which category, agents or groups, is displayed in the left-hand grid.
Notes:
More than one line in the right-hand grid may be assigned to a line in the left hand grid. In other words, a line in the left-hand grid can own more than one line in the right-hand grid. Therefore, to associate more than one agent with a group, select the Groups radio button, placing the groups on the left and agents on the right. Conversely, to associate an agent with more than one group, select the Agents radio button, placing the agents on the left and groups on the right.
When Agents radio button set: Selecting a line in the main (agents) grid displays the agent's group in the secondary grid.
When Group radio button set: Selecting a line in the main (groups) grid displays the group's agents in the secondary grid.
Selecting a line in the secondary grid ticks the line's right-most column, enables the Process selection button, and greys-out the Select Left Grid group box's radio buttons.
Tip: To re-enable the radio buttons, select the Reset Selections button.
Agent GRID:
Agent: Agent's login ID
Name: Agent's name as stored in the system
Group GRID:
Group Code: Identifier
Group Name: Displayed when referencing the group in other Autoline forms
Group Type:
Group: Represents a segment of the company's hierarchical organisation e.g., Full-time Call Handlers
Area: Represents a portion of the company on an administrative basis, for example regional offices might be classed as distinct groups
PUSH BUTTONS:
Reset Selections: If the Select Left Grid group box's radio buttons are greyed-out, it re-enables them
Process Selection: If you changed the assignment of lines in the right-hand grid belonging to a line in the left-hand grid, it carries out that allocation
Note: If you do not use the Process Selection button, the selections you make are not attached.
