Work Details Form

This form is one of the options that can be selected when the Use predefined template tick box is selected on the New form attributes form. It has been designed in such a way that full point of sale functionality is available while retaining the look and feel of the script forms. There are three areas of this form which need to be considered.

User definable fields

The user definable fields are all available at the top of the form this area allows you to add fields which are useful to the function of the script. They can be changed using normal form editing processes.

Items on this WIP

This area appears in the centre of the form and is split into three tabs, each of which are part of the service booking process.

Note: This area of the form should not be amended as changes may affect the functionality and ability to use Service Point of Sale correctly.

The tabs available are:-

Work

This tab enables you to add lines to a WIP for work the customer has requested. You can view work which has been added from on of the other available tabs.

This grid displays the details of work items added to the WIP. The columns on this grid are:-

Tip: Individual lines can be amended using a single right click action on a grid item. However care should be taken when amending WIP lines. Additional training may be required for this.

Possible up sells and favourites

The possible up sells and favourites tabs will only be available if there are up sells relating to the vehicle loaded created in Point Of Sale. The available options and which tab they appear depends on how the upsells are created in POSE.

Reminders from previous visits

These are items that have been deferred from previous visits to the dealership. This information is stored in the MKS.remin file when a PoS WIP line is set to N status.

Function and navigation buttons

There are four function buttons on the form. they are essential for script flow and predefined functions connected with the creation of the WIP and should not be changed or removed. There are also five available buttons that allow you to add functionality to the form. The user definable buttons are added during the script definition process.
