The Enter variant prices form is displayed when the Change variant prices option is selected from the DD Build Specification menu. This program is very simple, it allows you to quickly apply a percentage price or value increase to all variants.
This program allows you to select a Franchise, Model Code and variant to start from, and enables users to update with a new price and enable this to be effective fro a certain date and end at a certain date, for example there could be a special offer on a selection of models/variants for a period. Whilst the prices could be updated in Build specification, calling each record up by its franchise, model and variant code can be time consuming.
Franchise: This is the (up to) three-character franchise code, which is the prime key to the table, and cannot be amended in itself as such.
Model : The model code of the vehicle.
Variant: Variant code of the vehicle.
This section displays the vehicle selected and it's current price.
Within this section there are two options of which you should select one of the, by clicking on the radio button.
Percentage: If using the percentage option enter the percentage figure.
Adjusted price: If using the manual option, then enter the value.
Effective until: The date in which you wish the price to be effective to.
This will display a message advising the user that the variant price will be updated.
Button:
Next: Moves on to the next variant.
Accept: Determines that you accept the variant prices.
Exit: Returns you to the DD Build Specification menu.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
