Create option relationships.

To create an option relationship:

There are two ways that Option relationships can be created.

From the Build specification form, select you franchise, model, and variant where applicable, select the main option for the relationship.

Right click on the option and select Option relationship from the sub menu. This will take you to the option relationship form.

>Click the Option Relationships button to take you to the option relationship form.

Then select the option you wish to include/exclude from the list of the option types available, choose from the following:

  1. Factory fitted options.

  2. Colours.

  3. Packs.

  4. Dealer fitted options.

  5. Extended warranty options.

  6. Non-recoverable options.

  7. Bonus schemes.

  8. Insurances.

  9. Trims.

From the control, select whether the option is to be included or excluded from the relationship.

Relationship types: This lists the relationship types as follows:

  1. Include.

  2. Exclude.

When options are selected and added to the relationship as includes or excludes, they will display in the grid to the right of the form, the headings are as follows:

On this form there are four arrows, these enable you to add and remove the options to the primary option, they are as follows:

Enables you to add one option from the selected option type to the primary option.

Enables you to add all options from the selected option type to the primary option.

Enables you to remove one option from the selected option type to the primary option.

Enables you to remove all options from the selected option type to the primary option.

Type: Displays the option type.

Option code: Displays the option code.

Description: Displays the full description of the option.

R: Displays an I for Include or an E for exclude.

Click OK and your relationship(s) will be saved.
